Ottawa's Premier Wedding Venue. We are looking forward to celebrating with you. Here are a few helpful details to help ensure you maximize your experience and keep your day as stress free as possible.
Le Belvédère is location 30 minutes north of Ottawa just outside of the town of Wakefield, Quebec.
The roads leading up to the Belvedere are steep dirt roads, please drive slowly and carefully and keep your eyes out for signs to guide you along the way.
Is there an ATM on site?
There is no ATM at Le Belvedere, however we gladly accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit as forms of payment at the bar
Are there taxis available?
There are taxis available to take you to Gatineau or Ottawa, however, they need to be prearranged before arriving to the event. Please note, there are no taxis available to Wakefield
Where is the closest gas station?
The closest gas station is located at the Cross Loop Exit on highway 5 about 15 mins away
but closes at 10:30pm so please plan accordingly
Is there parking available on site?
Absolutely. Le Belvédère does offer complementary parking
Is there a bar available at Le Belvédère?
There is both an indoor and outdoor bar at Le Belvedere. We are proud to offer a variety of beers, cocktails, liquors and much more.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Le Belvedere has a zero tolerance policy for alcohol being brought in offsite. Any unlicensed drinks will be confiscated immediately.
What should I do if I have an allergy or dietary request?
You should have the opportunity to communicate dietary requests through the wedding invitation. If it was missed or you have something specific you would like to request, you can email us directly at jessica@lebelvedere.ca. If your allergies are severe and you are more comfortable providing your own meal we are happy to accommodate.
When should I arrive on the wedding day?
Guests arrival begins 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. Ceremony start time can found on your invitation. Please note the doors will remain closed for guests until 45 minutes prior to the ceremony.
Is there a dress code at Le Belvédère?
Every wedding is different but please keep in mind ceremonies and cocktail hour do take place outside. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and are dressed appropriately for an outdoor setting.
Are there additional accommodations close to Le Belvédère?

Is Le Belvédère wheelchair accessible?
We are Wheelchair accessible, however, it is an outdoor setting so we advise someone to be available to assist any persons with limited mobility.
Can I leave my car overnight?
Absolutely, cars need to be removed by 12:00pm the following day
What should I know about Wakefield?
Wakefield is a beautiful riverside village just 5km from Le Belvedere. It is full of delicious restaurants, cafes, bakeries and wonderful places to stay. We encourage our guests to stay and make a weekend of their visit to Le Belvédère.
